That Time Dalmore Beach Played Hard to Get
Let me paint a picture: little ol’ me, on Dalmore Beach, with my trusty camera, trying to play it cool. But honestly? I was on a mission. I’d been at it for nearly two hours, wooing the waves into just the right pose. You know, like trying to get a toddler to smile for a family photo, but wetter.
The sun was throwing this epic goodbye party, with every shade from the color wheel making an appearance. And the waves? Oh, they were in a cheeky mood! Some would rush up as if to say “Snap me now!” and then… plop, just a tiny splash. Others took their sweet time, strolling in like fashionably late divas.
As my fingers started giving me the cold shoulder (literally, it was chilly), and with the sun almost calling it a day, I thought maybe today wasn’t the day. But just when I was contemplating a steaming mug of hot chocolate, Mother Nature decided to throw me a bone.
This wave, the Beyoncé of all waves, strutted in. Click! Gotcha! It wasn’t just a photo; it was a story, a comedy, a dance-off. I left with a grin, soaking wet boots, and a shot that said, “Waited two hours, but yeees, I got the money shot!”
